Wilson Kibler represents Getronics in $1.63 million investment expected to create 500 jobs

Greenville, SC (June 20, 2019) – Wilson Kibler’s Edward Wilson represented European-based IT company, Getronics, in the recent 32,987-square-foot lease at 650 Executive Center Drive in Park 37. Getronics held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday to celebrate its relocation to the new Greenville service center—a move that represents a $1.63 million capital investment in Greenville and is expected to create 500 jobs.  Wilson also represented the company in the 26,998-square-foot lease at 510 Airport Blvd. in February 2018, where its retail software services group continues to operate.

Getronics has nearly 9,000 employees in 23 countries across Asia, Europe, Latin America, and North America.  The company “provides business transformation expertise in Managed Workspace, Applications, Industry-specific Software Solutions, Multi-Cloud Management, Unified Communications, and Security Services,” according to a news release.  Getronics partners with Microsoft, Apple, Lenovo, Cisco, and Hewlett Packard, among others, in serving its clients that include Whirlpool, Subway, ING, Fifth Third Bank, Sfere, PSMar, Unipart Automotive, and many other companies, government agencies and institutions for higher education.

Marjorie Chabot, Director of the Global Service Desk at Getronics, stated, “We have found great space for our new employees. That is all due to Edward Wilson and Wilson/Kibler taking the time to understand our business so that we could identify the correct space for our needs. Edward is always forward-looking when considering our growth in the community and our future needs. Wilson/Kibler was a true partner in helping us find the perfect space.”

“We have been fortunate to provide real estate services to a fantastic company. Getronics has created a unique company culture that is both encouraging to observe and participate in through our role in supporting their growth,” said Wilson. “We look forward to their continued growth in our community and the positive impact they have created through job growth, international diversity, quality customer service, and additional awareness brought to the Greenville market.”
