Columbia, SC — June 2, 2025 — Wilson Kibler Commercial Real Estate is pleased to announce the sale of 1104 Shop Road, a 36,326-square-foot flex building in Columbia, South Carolina. The property sold for $3.6 million in an investment transaction that underscores the continued strength of the Columbia commercial real estate market.

The building is currently leased to Young Office, a regional leader in office furniture and workspace solutions, making it an appealing acquisition with reliable, in-place income. Located just minutes from downtown Columbia, the property enjoys a strategic position near Williams-Brice Stadium and the South Carolina State Fairgrounds, benefiting from strong visibility and access via I-77 and other key corridors.

Wilson Kibler announced today, Edward Wilson, CCIM, MCR, a managing partner in the company’s Greenville office, now holds the prestigious Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) designation awarded by CoreNet Global.


CoreNet Global’s MCR is one of commercial real estate’s most esteemed designations. It was established in 1982 as a comprehensive career development program that helps teach skills focused on critical business issues and the mission of the corporate real estate organization in relation to corporate goals.


The curriculum includes workplace strategies, enterprise alignment, corporate real estate finance, among other courses. Edward Wilson obtains prestigious CCIM designation

Edward Wilson, a managing partner in Wilson Kibler’s Greenville office, recently received the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation by the CCIM Institute, one of the leading commercial real estate associations in the world. Wilson specializes in office leasing and sales working with buyers, sellers, tenants and landlords across the South Carolina market.

The CCIM designation is awarded to commercial real estate professionals upon successful completion of a graduate-level curriculum and presentation of a portfolio of qualifying experience. The curriculum addresses financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, and investment analysis, the cornerstones of commercial real estate investment. CCIMs are recognized experts in brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis. Wilson is one of six current Wilson Kibler associates with the CCIM designation.
