Wilson Kibler managing partner obtains prestigious MCR designation

Wilson Kibler announced today, Edward Wilson, CCIM, MCR, a managing partner in the company’s Greenville office, now holds the prestigious Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) designation awarded by CoreNet Global.


CoreNet Global’s MCR is one of commercial real estate’s most esteemed designations. It was established in 1982 as a comprehensive career development program that helps teach skills focused on critical business issues and the mission of the corporate real estate organization in relation to corporate goals.


The curriculum includes workplace strategies, enterprise alignment, corporate real estate finance, among other courses. CoreNet designed the program to help both corporate real estate teams and external service providers maximize the use of real estate to meet a corporation’s requirements by integrating portfolio strategies, flexible planning, and other considerations.

Professional Background

Givens Stewart, SIOR, serves as a managing partner in the Greenville, South Carolina, office of Newmark Wilson Kibler, where he focuses on the sale and leasing of land, industrial and investment properties. Mr. Stewart joined the company in 2018 after 17 years at Colliers International, where he was vice president of its Greenville office division. Mr. Stewart’s experience in leasing and sales make him a valuable resource in Greenville’s expanding market.

During his tenure with Colliers International, Mr. Stewart won its Everest Club Award, which recognizes the top 10% of Colliers brokers in the U.S., three times, in 2014, 2015 and 2016. In 2008 and 2015, he received Colliers International South Carolina’s highest honor, the Walter M. Keenan Award, as the leading producer statewide. Professional Background

Edward Wilson serves as a managing partner in the Greenville, South Carolina, office of Newmark Wilson Kibler, where he focuses on the sale and leasing of office and retail properties. Mr. Wilson rejoined the company in 2017 after nearly a year and a half at Cushman & Wakefield, where he was vice president of its Greenville office division. He began his career at Newmark Wilson Kibler in 2009. In 2013, Mr. Wilson moved to Greenville to help expand Newmark Wilson Kibler’s market share. He worked closely with WCM Global Wealth as a portfolio manager and assisted with the acquisition of the Greenville News site, now known as the Camperdown development.
